It's warm

It's now 3:30pm, a lazy Saturday afternoon here in Juba. I played farmer this afternoon and planted my herbs. That was a sweaty job, but hopefully the seeds will grow extra fast because it is so stinking hot here! I even had to dig into the ground to get some good soil to put in my laundry soap bucket plant pots.I had the pots all turned the other way around so that you would only see the nice white pot part, but our house helper turned them all around again so you could see the Nomi labels! I'll turn them around later. And we'll see if she turns them around when she comes on Monday again :)

Well, it's tea time here. I think we might break into a bar of chocolate with our tea. Why am I drinking tea when it's 104F / 40C you ask? Well, I'm becoming either a Brit or an African. I haven't figured out which yet, though.

It is quite satisfying to sit down to a cup of tea with dirt under one's fingernails.
