So today is yet another holiday! This one is commemorating the 23rd anniversary of the war starting up in this country. I still find that a strange thing to celebrate. Anyways, we have celebrated so far with some donuts for breakfast from the corner, getting the laundry hung up on the line, driving someone around town to find keys to his house, and getting two guestrooms ready for some guests who are coming in this afternoon.
I've also found some interesting things on the Internet - actually on the CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corp.) website...
One is about a Bible Translation that's been done in Australia.
The other is about Aboriginal languages and education in Canada.
So yeah, until I blog something else more interesting, you can keep yourselves entertained with these articles... a little Canadian and Aussie spin on what we're trying to do over here!
