The requests for our language learning book continue to pour in. But I sold the first one for real to our doctor neighbors. I even have a real reciept book. I always liked filling in forms when I was a kid, and now all those lessons learned in marketing back at the school store in Grade 5 and 6 is coming in handy :)
I'm just getting ready to roll myself to my bed, after stuffing my belly with injera and shiro yet again tonight. We were celebrating the departure of our Americans, our place on the UN map, and our official registration as an NGO in this part of the country! So many things to celebrate, so little time...
This morning started off with tourist trip to a tomb of a local fallen leader. That was quite the adventure. But Richard was with us, so no one got arrested or married off to the guards. Then we went off to the airport to bring them all away. When we got home from the airport, I danced a little jig in our hallway, since there were no people to be seen. Actually, the house feels a little deserted at the moment. It sure is nice to have brand new sinks, towel racks and fresh paint! Wow. Amazing. gotta post before I lose the generator!
