The debate of the night

Is Richard learning how to speak Hedgehog? Or is Richard teaching the hedgehog tricks.

Since there's really not that much else to do in the evenings around here, Grace and I went on a hedgehog safari. Since we only saw one, and weren't able to catch him, we came inside to while away the evening online. Now that Richard's home, though, Grace has her pet hedgehogs out. Richard is now making kissy noises at Spike, the boy hedgehog, which makes the hog spaz out a bit. So I think they're telling secrets to each other. But Grace thinks Richard's teaching Spike a few tricks.

Next thing you know, we'll have a circus. Zane Khawaija will show off his new found trick of being a lap cat, and Spike just flick around his spikes! So if anyone wants to come out here, we'll entertain you!
