Part of my mini-holiday this weekend also included a few hours by (and in!) the swimming pool, even though it wasn't terribly warm! At least the sun was shining, and the cold water encouraged one to actually swim, instead of just "pool" whilst in the water.
Following the pooling, it was time for the Football Cup!
My dear roomie, A. and some of her buddies, had the grand idea to cover a pitcher in foil, and make medals out of our name-tag lanyards!
It was a pretty close game: 1 - 1 during regulation time!
So it came down to a shoot-out, where the Blue team, lead by "the Traveller, Msafiri", proved victorious. Not to be outdone, of course, the losing team rejoiced in their candy prize.
But the winning team got the glory with the cup. Some are already agitating for a re-match next weekend!
