Not Much to Say

I think my blogging efforts have been hampered lately by my lack of creative titles. I really have little to say these days, which makes me think that I'm perhaps becoming a bit boring and stick in the mud-ish.  This is not a good thing.  So.  I need to find something amusing each day to blog about.

Today, my amusing blog post is about something that I heard from two sources today - one source was my friend's facebook status, and the second was the NGO Security alert, which gets emailed out to warn us of security issues each week.  The big news today - apparently a woman turned into a snake after stealing some money back at home.  Half the town (well, ok, "hundreds" of people) showed up at the police station and hospital to try to catch a glimpse of said snake-woman.  Apparently, because the UN has a mandate to protect civilians, they flew her out of the country, lest she come to harm.

Welcome to my world!

On another note, I watched "Singing in the Rain" tonight with some of the students here from Jb.  It was hilarious to watch them watching the slapstick comedy in that movie!  So you now know what entertains folks in this part of the world - "Make 'em Laugh" and snake women.
