I'm still excited about being able to wear my cold weather clothes here! Some of the students here are also my colleagues from where I normally work, and today, one of them was looking at me, and I could tell he was trying to figure out what was different about me. Finally, he said, "You're wearing trousers!" Even though I've worked with him for a couple of years, he's never seen me in a pair of trousers. I got a bit tired of being cold during the day, so I decided to wear my trousers to the office and class this morning. And even I felt a bit odd, literally covered from neck to toe! And I just keep telling my colleagues who are quite puzzled at the change in my attire, and seeing that yes, I actually do have legs, that trousers, sweaters and socks are, indeed, my national dress. It's what all Canadians wear, normally. Except for in some places, in the summer. Which I hear is the current season...
Tomorrow, I finally get to teach! Unfortunately, I have also this evening caught a cold from someone that I'm sharing an office with :( So hopefully, I will have a voice and a clear head to be able to teach tomorrow! We're going to have lots of fun looking at how to check, publish and market health related literacy materials :)
