Was going to blog...

... but then I sent an email someone instead, and seem to have used up all my allotted words for the day.  I taught today - a lesson on 'functors' that I planned last night.  I normally don't plan lessons the night before, especially when I've never taught that particular topic before... but it worked out alright.  I think the participants understood well, and they were all engaged and having a good time, it seems.  Those "participatory learning methods" sure do work :)

And I have to admit, it was good fun to be in front of a group, teaching again.  I sure do like teaching :)

I have now gone over my word allotment for the day.  I best get myself closer to my bed, so I still have some words left for the workshop tomorrow!
