Home Beautification

Well, I'm slowly getting back into life in Jb.  My house is almost back in order - that is, I have dug out the important things like toilet paper and olive oil.  My fridge is stocked with important things like Coke (thanks to the folks who were living in my house while I was away!) and tomatoes and eggplants (thanks to my nieghbour who did a bit of shopping for me!).  So things are definitely less shagalabagala.  I even have done a bit of beautification on my front step.

Aren't those lovely pots?  I've been told that once they take root in the new pots, the plants will come up with some big bright pink flowers.  So I'm looking forward to having a bit of colour.  I just like it, too, because it makes it look like someone cares about this place.  Since the construcution of the house many months ago, there is still a lot of construction detritus laying around. So I'm doing my best to make it look a bit like I care about my home... but you have to be a bit creative around here in order to do that!  I have also acquired a few more bits for my walls in all my travels these past months, so I'll have to post a few picts of those at some point, too.

Tomorrow, we start a workshop - I haven't even been to the office yet since coming back from Kenya, and we start a workshop bright and early tomorrow morning!  YIKES!  Should be a fun week!
