A little bit of nut 'n honey

For whatever reason, I'm craving Cheerios.  A big bowl of crispy cheerios, floating in some icy cold milk would seriously hit the spot right now.  Plain, honey nut, apple cinnamon, multigrain... don't matter what kind.  As long as they're real Cheerios.

 Weird, eh?

Tonight we had our first bit of Christmas cheer!  A bunch of friends and folks who work for other organizations got together to sing Christmas Carols and eat Christmas cookies!  Yum!  It did feel a bit odd, though, to be singing, "Joy to the World" while wiping the sweat from my brow.

I also didn't have the motivation, in between bringing folks to the airport and packing, to bake cookies.  So I brought a bag of surgery delightfulness, pre-wrapped in crinkly festive paper.  The kids liked them, anyway :)

Also, just to update you, my predictions for the pattern of the electricity have held more or less true today!  It came on and went off on "schedule", though this evening it seems to be flickering a bit.  But that doesn't really help me get any closer to those Cheerios...
