Really, it's shameful how few pictures I've been taking lately. Sorry about that. I will, once again, try to do better. Maybe if I just keep my camera in my bag with me, then I'll do better. I'll try. Really, I will.
Things are jetting along here at what seems to be warp speed ahead. Today I had three meetings - good meetings, and necessary meetings, but all in a row... it was a bit intense! One of my meetings was with one of the language teams that I work with. We were looking back at the literacy activities that we did last year, and looking ahead to the literacy activities that we'll do this year (our fiscal year begins on October 1, so we do our planning meetings with all the language teams at this time of year). It was good to sit and talk through where the project is going and what we're going to attempt to get done this coming year. Tomorrow I sit with one of the other teams to do the same thing.
I'm also a bit encouraged because I think I'm getting better at this planning thing. Well, I HOPE I'm getting better at this planning thing, as I've been doing it for a few years now. It is also encouraging to see the progress that's been made by the teams, as we look back over the past year (and beyond!) and look ahead.
This year is going to be an interesting year, though. Politically, who knows what's going to happen and how it might affect our work in this place. But we're praying for peace and that things can just move ahead...
