I really must start taking pictures again! Sorry for the lack of visual stimulation on this blog lately. Seems I just forget to take photos! Oddly enough, I think I took, like, 2 photos while I was in Kenya!
Today there was a photo worthy occasion, but of course, I forgot to take photos. The termites are starting to chew our house to bits! So we ended up pulling out some furniture away from the walls, throwing away a few boxes of stuff that the termites had already eaten through, and killed the rest of the termites with some serious insecticide. All in a Sunday afternoon's work :)
The ironic thing is, I made french toast for breakfast this morning, which R enjoyed covered in termite paste. Yes, that's what I said. Termite paste. His mother-in-law made for him a whole can full of mashed termites. Quite a lot like peanut butter, just made with termites, instead of peanuts! Mmmmm... Actually, I was about to try a bit when he told me that there was also mashed dried fish in the paste. So mashed termites and dried fish on french toast just somehow didn't sound so appealing for breakfast this morning!
