My mom is the most amazing packer! That huge pile of stuff has been stuffed into bags. I'm allowed two bags of 23 kg each. One of my bags is 24kg, and the other is 19 kg. So... hopefully they won't complain about that extra 1 kg in the one bag! The smaller bag just can't take anything more, it's stuffed to the very tip top.
But don't get me started on how much stuff is in the carry-on. I think I have too many books with me. Plus a scanner and a bunch of computer bits! So I'm just hoping they don't weigh my carry-on, 'cause if they do that, I'm toast.
Anwyays, it might be a few days till you hear from me again! I'm praying for a very uneventful few days... and hopefully the next time you hear from me, it will be from my African home!
