One of the things I like the LEAST about traveling is coming home to unpack. Thankfully, my luggage got left in Mlkl, so I don't have to unpack tonight!
Yup, I managed to make it home today, and I don't think I've ever been so happy to back in this town as I was when I got home today! We rushed out of the house this morning to get to the airport by 9:30am. Just after 4pm, we were heading towards the "inner" waiting room at the airport! At about 6pm, we finally landed at home. There weren't even any taxis left in the parking lot here - they were already mopping the floors in the airport, since everything was shutting down for the day! Anyways, I'm just thankful to be back home! Sitting in the airport could have been worse - at least the bathrooms there are relatively ok, and there are coolers, which keep the place quite cool. Unfortuately, there's nothing more to eat than bread and cookies, soda and tea. So I was quite hungry by the time we got back here. Thankfully, we were whisked off right away to the Queen of Sheba and I stuffed myself silly with injera and shiro.
I'm really tired tonight, though, for obvious reasons, so I'll write and post photos tomorrow. Just wanted ya'll to know that I'm home safe and sound!
